Bozhidar Todorov Stanchev was born in 1949 in the city of Sofia. He has been married since 1972. He has two children.
Bozhidar Stanchev has a higher education. He has graduated from the Higher School of Management and Marketing "Marcom".
In 1970, he started working at the Council for mutual insurance of the members of the worker producers` cooperatives (SVOCH) as an inspector. Since 01.01.1990 he was appointed as a head of recreation in the mutual insurance board and he has a leading role in the process of returning the cooperative`s rest bases to the SVOCH.
By decision of the Management Board of the Central Union of Worker Producers` Cooperatives he was elected as the Chairman of SVOCH, holding this position during the period from 01.07.1996 until the closure of the SVOCH with the repeal of Decree No. 265/1953 / 01.01.2000.
Bozhidar Stanchev is the one of initiators of establishing the company "Tourmedico" and he is the first Executive Director. Currently he is a member of Tourmedico`s Board of Directors.
At the 14th Congress of the National Union of Worker Producers` Cooperatives held on 14 November 2019, Bozhidar Stanchev has been elected as a member of the Management Board and at the session of the Management Board, held on 19 December 2019, he has been appointed as a Vice President of the NUWPC.
At the Congress of the European Confederation of Industrial and Service Cooperatives - CECOP, held on 08 June 2021, Bozhidar Stanchev has been elected as a member of the CECOP Management Board.
At the supplemental Congress of the NUWPC held on 1st of July 2021, Bozhidar Stanchev has been elected as a President of the National Union of Worker Producers` Cooperatives in Bulgaria.
Vladislav Lazarov was born in 1978 in the town of Svoge. He finished 22nd Secondary School "G. S. Rakovski" in Sofia and as a private student 91st German language high school "Dr. K. Galabov" in 1996. He holds a Master's degree in law from “Paisii Hilendarski” Plovdiv University, from the Military Academy "G. S. Rakovski" on "National Security and Defense" and on “Business Administration” from Sofia Technical University.
He defended his doctoral dissertation in 2009 at the Academy of the Ministry of Interior. Acquired the scientific degree "Doctor of Sciences" in 2016 from the University of Library Science and Information Technology. Since 2021 he is an Associate Professor in the "National Security" department, the faculty of "Information Sciences" of UniBIT University.
Assoc. Prof. Vladislav Lazarov DSc has been Parliamentary Secretary of the Ministry of Interior and an associate in committees of the National Assembly of the Republic of Bulgaria. He is a member of the International Police Association (IPA) based in Geneva-Switzerland and associate member of the Association of Police Chiefs of the Republic of Bulgaria. Since 2021 he is a member of the Union of Scientists in Bulgaria (USB) as well as in the Federation of Scientific and Technical Unions in Scientific and Technical Section "Mechanical Engineering". He is the editor-in-chief of the magazine "Worker-producers` cooperatives in the social and solidarity economy" and a member of the editorial board of "Bulgarian Police" magazine. Since 2022 he is a member of the advisory board to the Bulgarian Industrial Association on the issues of the European Green Pact, in particular the EC initiative "Prepared for Target 55".
Assoc. Prof. Vladislav Lazarov DSc has managerial experience and expertise in working with organizations and enterprises in the field of social entrepreneurship. He has been working in the cooperatives system since June 2000. Since 2006 together with Mrs. Liliana Veleva fulfill the function of parliamentary secretary of the NUWPC. Since 2011 he is the Chairman of the Board of VPK "Impuls-21". Since December 2022 has been elected as the Chairman of the Board of the City Council of Workers` Producer Cooperatives -Sofia. In April 2022 has been elected as a Vice President of the NUWPC Bulgaria.
